Amanda Amanda Buzard – lead designer
Amanda is a Seattle-based designer inspired by clean patterns and vintage everything. She chases many creative and active pursuits in her spare time, including traveling around the Northwest, taking pictures, dining out, and creating community.
Kenny Friedman – graphic designer
Kenny is a Minneapolis-based creative director and designer, as well as a photographer specializing in collage and lo-fi imagery. His passion for creativity also shines in the hilarious daddy blog smonkyou.com
Staci Friedman – project manager
Staci is an organizational guru who enjoys the finer details of the projects she works on. She previously planned and implemented well over 100 marketing events, social gatherings, weddings, and fundraisers all around the world for high profile clients. Her passions also include being a Montessori teacher, shopping for literally anything she can spend money on, eating out, and making her son giggle.
Lilla Lilla Kovacs – operations manager
As the operations manager, Lilla ensures that everything runs like clockwork. She loves shoe shopping, traveling, art, and her MacBook.
Nicole Nicole Shema – project manager
A Seattle native, Nicole is happy to be back in her home town after graduating from the University of Oregon in 2009. While traveling the world with Semester at Sea, she found a passion for exploring new countries and cultures. Nicole loves discovering new places with friends, running, shopping, and reading in coffee shops.
Alison Alison Turner – graphic designer
Alison is a graphic designer, seamstress, and block printer from Seattle who supports human rights and the local food movement. In her spare time she enjoys music, cooking, and being outside.

Athalie Athalie Stegeman
Athalie is a source of inspiration for professionals and businesses. She combines analytic skills with strategic chances, and digital marketing with communication means. She’s open minded, loves innovation, creativity and business development, and believes in learning by doing by running her own B2B and B2C companies.
Cristina Cristina Stoian
As the project manager for her team, Cristina makes sure that everything runs smoothly in the CRAVE Amsterdam division and is in close touch with the American team. With an eye for photography and art, and a love for life, she is trying something new every day. She has been with CRAVE since November 2009.

IS WORKS is both Isrid’s business and her network. IS WORKS connects people and activates projects in fashion while helping companies re-think, re-shape, create energy, and manage their community.
CRAVE Atlanta
Laura Laura Scholz
As an entrepreness and veteran publicist, Laura brings her networking savvy, knowledge of the Atlanta scene, and passion for fabulous people and places to CRAVE Atlanta. Laura and several of her clients are featured in the first CRAVE Atlanta guide, and she anticipates using her extensive network, new media expertise and passion for connecting people to grow the brand in this exciting New South city.

Laura is president of Scholz Communications, a boutique firm that manages both traditional and new media campaigns for lifestyle and entertainment clients, many of whom are fellow female entrepreneurs. A resident of Atlanta’s Westside, Laura spends her spare time running marathons, writing, meeting new people and exploring the city’s foodie hot spots.

CRAVE Austin
Pansy Pansy Flick
Pansy grew up loving leopard print and purple. As an adult, she has kept those loves alive as a personal shopper at Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus, and as a district sales manager for Bill Blass New York. Pansy loves living in Austin where she enjoys to cooking, reading, working out, hanging out with friends, and finding more purple shoes.

Pansy is excited to bring her networking skills and passion for creativity to CRAVE Austin. Her favorite quote is “Clothes won’t change the world, but the women who wear them will.”

CRAVE Boston
Jennifer Jennifer Saphier
Jennifer graduated from Northeastern University with a degree in marketing and entrepreneurship and a lot of motivation. She started Saphier Events six months later and has been supremely happy as an entrepreneur every day since. Saphier Events produces events that run the gamut from elaborate weddings and social affairs to non-profit galas and store launches. Already a fierce supporter of female owned businesses as well as a proud New Englander, Jennifer is excited to list CRAVE Boston to her list of entrepreneurial projects.

Jennifer resides on the North Shore and spends her free time discovering and refurbishing flea market treasures to use as one of a kind props at her events and in her home. Most evenings she can be found out and about the city of Boston hunting for the greatest shopping, dining, and event spots.

CRAVE Chicago
Michele Michele Kravetz
At a young age, Michele was already hard at work developing playful businesses in the basement of her parents’ home. It wasn’t until spending seven successful years in commercial real estate that her inquisitive nature uncovered the hidden passion she held in her heart for the world of entrepreneurialism. As a self-proclaimed social media connoisseur and master networker, Michele is motivated to create and maintain a CRAVE Chicago that women in the metro area can be proud to connect with. She is also working on launching a web-based business dedicated to providing social media solutions on a national platform.

Often Michele gets very excited about a particular idea or project and her dynamic personality allows creativity to flow while enhancing every discussion. Michele mixes style, grace and productivity into lives across Chicagoland, although she strongly believes you should be your own style icon. She loves to discover restaurants or cafés around the world, and can be found surfing travel websites on any given day.

Melanie Melanie Stancampiano
Melanie believes that we truly must be the change we wish to see in the world, and uses that as daily inspiration in her personal and professional life. She began her career in the not-for-profit industry where she worked to bring women together to support each other in their volunteerism. She now brings glamour and sophistication to events around Chicagoland as a linen stylist with Oliveaire Artisan Events and Meetings.

Melanie brings positive energy and creativity to her work, with a great talent for keeping it all organized. She is passionate about volunteering and giving back, and loves to daydream about future travels or spend time curled up with a good book—when not chasing around her toddler daughter, that is. Melanie’s favorite city in the world is Chicago and she is always excited to connect with all of the amazing entreprenesses who also call Chicago home.

Jenn Jenn Sprinkle
Jenn was a serial entrepreneur at birth. She lays awake at night sorting through ideas that run through her mind. Jenn spent most of her career in the corporate world working with major retailers as a designer and product developer, but she could never escape the passion she had to work for herself. She took that leap of faith last year leaving an incredible international job and fulfilling her dream everyday at her design studio, Waxpaper Design House (specializing in marketing/branding, product development, and custom invitations). Patterns, paper and palettes of color are her passion! She loves inspiring women to take the leap!
CRAVE Denver
Mia Mia Voss
Mia has worked in the inspection/design/construction industry for more than 12 years. After working with several architecture firms in Denver, she branched out on her own in 2001 to start Blue Heron Consulting LLC, a unique niche business that provides punch list management services for high-end condominiums, hotels, and mixed-use development projects throughout the country.

When she heard about the CRAVE company, Mia jumped at the chance to bring CRAVEguides to Denver.

Mia is a passionate advocate for animal rights and the environment, and is also an active member of the Northglenn Community Foundation as well as a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver.

CRAVE Fort Worth
Mia Lesleigh Smith
Lesleigh was born in south Texas but raised in Arkansas. She grew up playing outside—with Hot Wheels, puppies and making forts in the woods—so of course she had to be creative! Even though she is a tomboy at heart, Lesleigh loves girly things, especially decorating, designing, and adding to her shoe collection whenever possible. Designing events ranging from corporate incentive trips to high profile weddings, this diva of decor prides her style on being southern with an edge.

Schooled in biology and graphic design, Lesleigh likes to take old things and make them look new again. When she grows up, she wants to own her own ranch which will double as a venue for amazing events and rustic weddings.

This busy wife and mother of a 3 year old owns her own event design business, Lux Event Design, where she is able to unleash her creativity. She now resides with her family in north Fort Worth.

CRAVE Hawaii
Leena Leena Haija
After having graduated from Eastern Washington University with a degree in Journalism and Public Relations, Leena worked doing marketing and events for Allied Trade Groups. She then moved to Hawaii to pursue her career at the Honolulu Design Center as Marketing Manager. Her true passion in life is to help others. She joined CRAVE in the hopes of helping women grow their businesses and see their goals through to fruition.
CRAVE Las Vegas
Elisabeth Elisabeth Daniels
Elisabeth handles public relations and consumer education and outreach for the State of Nevada. In her off time, she’s an artist, creating mixed media collages, handmade jewelry and art purses. Her one-of-a-kind artwork, under the name “Skyward,” is the official 2010 artwork the Susan G. Komen for the Cure® Southern Nevada chapter. Having lost more than 100 pounds, she loves to challenge herself physically, especially with adventure races. She has recently competed in events such as Scale the Strat, the Muddy Buddy Race, and the Warrior Dash, and is looking forward to Viva Bike Vegas and the Tough Mudder. Active in a variety of philanthropic endeavors since 2001, Elisabeth is a also graduate of the 2010 Leadership Las Vegas program through the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce.

Elisabeth is excited to launch CRAVE Las Vegas because of her passion for the vibrant female entrepreneurs who add depth, richness, and sophistication to “Sin City.”

CRAVE Los Angeles
Nicole Nicole Jaffe
Nicole may be a fashion and beauty connoisseur, but this LA native is not your average So Cal girl. Creative and down-to-earth, Nicole is always seeking fresh experiences by traveling the world or uncovering hidden gems in her hometown. Whether she is scrutinizing the display cases and wardrobe racks of high-end department stores or scoping out specialty shops and small “swoon-worthy” boutiques, Nicole is your go-to guru for all things stylish.

After graduating from USC and working as a Hollywood marketing maven, Nicole used her expertise and innovative spirit to start her own company, Yellow Box Beauty. Her quest? Discovering better-than-the-rest, out-of-this-world beauty products that have yet to hit the “it” list.

With this business background, it’s no wonder she felt an immediate connection to CRAVE when she first saw it in Portland. With her trend-spotting eye and refined taste, Nicole made it her mission to track down all the cool, creative, inspirational women in her area. She is excited to discover and rediscover the unique businesses owned by fellow savvy entreprenesses.

CRAVE Minneapolis/St. Paul
Kathy Kathy Hanson
Kathy has been an entrepreness for most of her professional life. With CRAVE, Kathy has found the perfect opportunity to focus her intensity and passion by connecting women in the Twin Cities with innovative and savvy entreprenesses who inspire, educate, and empower one another.

Armed with an MBA, Kathy began changing the face of many “good old boy” companies with her energy and optimism. As a marketing and strategy project manager with Fortune 100 companies such as Hewlett Packard, James River, Kaiser Permanente and Wells Fargo, she continues to be a leader in developing valuable strategies and establishing systems for sustainable success. Kathy now works with companies big and small who need a freelance partner to help with strategy and trends in sales, marketing, buying and organizational development.

Her entrepreneurial spirit drove her to start a pop-up shop, Pickets, from 2003 to 2008—with hip, vintage-inspired home goods and clothing. Pickets was quickly voted in “Best of Shops” in Minneapolis and was featured on the cover of Country Home magazine. Kathy even had her own segment on HGTV! She had a blast melding her favorite pastime of discovering, then reimagining all things vintage with her love of design, and running her own business.

Danielle Danielle Bobish
Founder and creative director of Curtain Up Events, Danielle plans, designs and coordinates weddings and events throughout New York City and the surrounding regions. Her work has been featured in Modern Bride and The New York Times, and she has been interviewed for articles in Time Out NY Kids, Brides.com and For The Bride magazine. A graduate of the University of Hartford’s Hartt School of Music, Danielle’s unique creative vision is derived in part from her former career as a professional actress performing on stages from Broadway to Bremerton.

Danielle founded Curtain Up Events with the idea of injecting into the event industry a bit of the drama and artistry of theatre.not to mention its professional production techniques. Drawing upon her unconventional background, Danielle combines a diverse network of creative artists with the world of traditional events professionals to build an ever broader spectrum of talent with which to collaborate. Danielle is excited to continue forging unexpected connections with CRAVE and looks forward to establishing CRAVE NYC as the savvy businesswoman’s go-to resource for all that is authentically New York.

Inna Inna Shamis
Inna is a communications specialist with 15 years experience in public relations, marketing communications and client management, working with such brands as Cendant, Johnson & Johnson, Cadbury Adams/Cadbury Schweppes, Solaris Health System, Crunch Fitness, CBS, Planet Hollywood, Hilton Hotels, Danskin, Sprint PCS, Elle Décor and Elizabeth Arden Red Door Salon & Spa. Her experience spans all media channels including broadcast, print and interactive.

A seasoned communicator, Inna has extensive global contacts in the consumer products, beauty, travel and hospitality, media and entertainment, and lifestyle sectors.

In 2007, Inna founded AvantGarde Communications Group, a boutique communications firm that services big and small brands in everything from public relations, branding and marketing, to website design and copywriting. She is integrally involved with each and every client at AvantGarde Communications Group, and retains an active, hands-on approach in everything from the creation of a plan to the execution of an initiative.

Mai Mai Tran
Mai’s entrepreneurial spirit, determination for success and attention to detail, accompanied by her innovative and creative technique makes her a master when it comes to event planning, marketing, and public relations. She brings her passion for connecting local Portland boutiques, designers and small business owners with industry experts and tastemakers, while offering alternative ways to drive success and revenue for the CRAVEportland community.

Mai’s extensive background in business and event marketing for high-tech corporate, non-profit, professional athlete, and entertainment clients (including Adobe Systems, Microsoft, Symantec Corporation, Freddy Jones Foundation (NBA), Lorenzo Alexander ACES Foundation (NFL), Rose Haven, Cascadia Region Green Building Council, Portland Trail Blazers, Mike Scifres Foundation (NFL), John Legend, Carmelo Anthony (NBA), Diageo, The Roots, Nike, and Boost Mobile) will parlay as an integral role, as she leads CRAVEportland into its next exciting phase.

An active University of Portland Alum, Mai currently resides in her hometown of Portland, Oregon with her two dogs, Bella and Booker. She is a self-proclaimed fashion addict, internet junkie and aspiring knitter.

Christy Christy Schutz
With more than 16 years in the advertising, marketing, corporate/employment communications and special events industries, Christy has a passion for creating and leveraging communications strategies that equip people to build richer, more effective relationships with those they hope to serve.

Christy is also an avid writer, focused on topics like career management, women/moms in the workplace, job search/career transition and office culture. She serves as a regular contributor and blogger on Tampa Bay’s Jobing.com, the online faith-based ministry YourCareerCalling.org, TheWorkAtHomeWoman.com and on her own site, HigherCallingCommunications.com.

As co-leader of the CRAVE Tampa Bay project, Christy is thrilled to help showcase Tampa Bay’s most successful and inspiring female business owners.

Nancy Vaughn
Nancy is an entrepreness and principal of White Book Agency, a public relations, marketing and special events firm. Nancy leads the development of publicity and communication campaigns that improve the visibility of businesses and entrepreneurs across the country. She actively maintains her freelance writing portfolio and is the Innovation News Editor for the new economy publication, 83 Degrees Media.

Nancy is active in the Tampa Bay community, serving on several boards and is particularly interested in issues surrounding diversity, culture, global sustainability, fashion and beauty. She is excited to be a co-city leader of CRAVE Tampa Bay and provide exposure to some of the Bay region’s savviest, entrepreneurial women.

Andrea Andrea Rocca
Raised by a family of entrepreneurs, it was never a surprise that Andrea would
eventually catch the entrepreneurial bug herself. After receiving her BBA with an
honours in Marketing, Andrea gained experience working in the marketing departments
of two global companies before deciding that the life of an entrepreness was truly for her.

With an experienced background in marketing and a passion for all things fashion and
food related, she has recently begun the journey of creating her own business. It was fate
that the opportunity to lead CRAVE Toronto was presented to her at the same time, and
she jumped at the chance to help grow a community of talented and motivated female
business owners.

CRAVE Vancouver
Arpen Arpen Thandi
Having discovered a love for event planning at such a young age, Arpen has incorporated her passion into CRAVE Vancouver. Arpen’s quick eye for style, vision for success, and utmost dedication to anything she manages makes her the perfect candidate to lead the city of Vancouver to great heights! Raised by a family of entrepreneurs and being surrounded by so many inspirational women, it only felt natural that Arpen came on board with the CRAVE team in 2008. Arpen’s event and marketing portfolio consists of work with TheStyleSpy, VIBC (Vancouver International Bhangra Celebration Society), Creme de la Creme, Not-for-profit organizations, and several Yaletown boutiques.

Arpen’s promise is to continue to support women in Vancouver as she believes that together we can make a difference and truly make the world a better place, and she, too, is looking forward to paving her own path as a entrepreness in the near future! Wendy Wendy McAllister
Wendy has more than 15 years of expertise in strategic marketing, business development, account management, online services, and broadcast production. As Founder of Evolution Consulting Group, Inc., Wendy leverages her experience extensively to help her clients successfully evolve their business.

Prior to launching Evolution Consulting Group, Inc., Wendy was director of business development for National Geographic, and worked as an account manager at America Online (AOL). In her spare time, Wendy has also worked on numerous television productions taped in Washington, DC, including the Kennedy Center Honors and the 2009 Presidential Inauguration Lincoln Memorial Concert.
