As a business owner it’s important to do everything in your power to make the customer happy. Building a network of word-of-mouth marketing, testimonials and referrals to gain new business and regain old customers all go hand in hand with the motto, “the customer is always right.” Smart marketers understand that the word “right” in this case means that if you want the customer to remain loyal, you need to accommodate him/her. The importance of customer service is key in gaining a clientele that continues to support you and your business. So how do you make your customer’s experience a great one, boost their customer satisfaction and create that incentive for them to keep coming back?

In our culture, fashion is viewed as frivolous. As the child of a diplomat, Allison intuitively understood and was fascinated by the language and power of fashion. However, she was always repelled by its exclusivity and “mean-girl” attitude.
As a child, Allison created her own paper dolls complete with back-stories and kid bodies. Her love of individual narratives led her to a degree in film studies and English literature at Cornell University. Her organizational genius and high level of client service gave Allison a successful career in advertising and international event planning.
She left the corporate world, had two kids and started building her business for a double shot in practicality and humility. Classes at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York showed Allison what she’s known all along—she has a gift for translating what makes women amazing on the inside into an individual style that shows it on the outside.

Barbara started FashiontweetPR in 2009 after working in several management support roles. After more than 10 years of work experience, it was time to follow her dream of working in PR and fashion. Barbara discovered social media early on and has made it her own, even naming her company after her Twitter handle, @fashiontweet.
