We’re CRAVE-ing Bella Cucina

Bella Cucina is a European-style boutique reminiscent of an upscale Italian gourmet food store. Chef/Owner Alisa Barry creates award-winning recipes in her kitchen and packages them in beautiful Italianate jars + gift boxes. From antipasti appetizers to dolci desserts, each product is made by hand in small batches right here in Atlanta, Georgia. Bella Cucina also produces a line for the home, called Casa Collezione and Carta, as well as a specialty stationary line. Come by to sample.  Buon appetito.

beautiful, artful, luxury

What are your most popular products or services?
Oprah’s O list favorite, Artichoke Lemon Pesto, the Italian Tuscan Grill endorsed by Alice Waters, and our Casa Collezione line of hi-fired porcelain ceramicware.

People may be surprised to know…
That we make all of our products by hand, in small batches.

What or who inspired you to start your business?
My culinary training in California under Alice Waters was the inspiration for the philosophy I maintain today.

Alice Waters, MFK Fisher, Anais Nin

What business mistake have you made that you will not repeat?
Never compromise passion for profit.

How do you spend your free time?
I am passionate about writing.  Reading is my simple luxury.  Cooking for family and friends is my art.

What is your indulgence?
Afternoon movie matinees.

Where is your favorite place to go with your girlfriends?
Anywhere good food + wine is served in a beautiful ambiance.
