While summer’s almost over, there’s still time to participate in one of Atlanta’s best summer traditions: the outdoor concert. There is nothing better than relaxing on a hot summers night while enjoying live music under the stars, cool beverage in hand. We have put together a list of our favorite venues–both traditional and unconventional–for you to soak up all the outdoor tunes you CRAVE. Most venues run shows through October, so you have plenty of time to get outside and enjoy!

As one of Atlanta’s newest concert venues, The Verizon Wireless Amphitheater provides a unique setting for both music lovers and first-time concertgoers. It’s beautiful park-like atmosphere allows you to enjoy music under the trees, with a number of large heritage trees, plants, and flowers all native to the park. In addition to many concerts, shows and events, the amphitheater also serves as the summer home of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.
