How would you describe yourself in 3 words?
sweet, humble, charismatic
What is your biggest goal for the future of your business?
The biggest goal for the future of my business is to spread style and inspiration to women everywhere.
What is one thing you could not live without?
Love
What is your favorite thing about living in Atlanta?
I love the vibrancy of the city and the entrepreneurial spirit of the people here.
What inspired you to start your business?
Honestly, I couldn’t find a job. I thought “why not create my own job?” I started blogging as a way to catalog inspirational things I found online. I started as a stylist with Stella & Dot because I fell head over heels in love with Jessica Herrin (our CEO and founder) and wanted a way to be stylish everyday.
What is your favorite part of being an entrepreneur?
I love working in my PJs, I love making my own schedule, I love the power of choice to do what I want to do. I love not having to punch a clock. I love my short commute from my bedroom to my office.
If you could have dinner and talk about business with one person, who would it be?
I have always love and admired the spirit of Anita Roddick, Founder of the Body Shop. I used to get the catalogs when I was in High School and I loved reading them over and over. She really left a huge impact on me.
If you could give one piece advice to other aspiring entrepreneurs, what would it be?
My one piece of advice to aspiring entrepreneurs is be different and never, ever give up. Never rest on your laurels, get up each day and roll up your sleeves and get ready to work hard.
