Our Coffee Chat on Sunday February 15th with marketing diva Maria Ross, president of Red Slice, and visual branding expert Bridget Gailey of bg|creative was a great success! We discussed the branding process — from creating your brand strategy to packaging and promoting your business.

Here are some highlights and reviews from attendees of the event:

“Just wanted to send a quick note to say I thought the Coffee Chat was great! My head is still spinning about colors and fonts! Thank you for organizing such great events.”

“I enjoyed the Coffee Chat. It gave me some things to think about when working with our designers for our website, as well as creating any marketing and media pieces. I look forward to the next one!”

“The branding topic was really helpful for me as I’m right in the middle of refining my branding, packaging and web content. Keeping the customer ‘audience’ in mind is key. It was equally a great experience getting other entrepreneurs’ feedback. One asked me where I see my business in five years and what our product line will look like. This was a good kick in the butt! I look forward to more events.”

“Thanks for Sunday’s chat. It was very informative. I also really like the Sunday afternoon casual format. This chat reinforced for me how important it is to have a clear vision for my company. It’s really necessary to have that in place before making other decisions. I also learned the importance of really knowing who my customer is so that I’m not just throwing random things down a black hole.”

“I just really enjoyed the coffee chat on Sunday. It clearly fulfilled its advertised outline and more. Short and sweet and to the point. Both Maria and Bridget presented pertinent topics and overview of the marketing and branding conundrum. I think for the novice it was a great starting point and has already helped me to think more strategically and identify whom my ideal clients are and how to better position toward them. With their encouragement, I will be transforming my fog light approach to a laser beam to target my prospects. I think the meeting has pointed my wandering mind in the right direction and I look forward to seeing the results.” Heather Quintans http://www.heatherquintans.com
