As of this morning the Olympic torch has officially passed from Washington State into British Columbia. In less than three short days the 2010 Winter Olympics will begin. The opening ceremonies will begin on Friday at 6pm PST and the games will continue through February 28th. Rumor has it that we can expect a performance from Sarah McLachan, performers flying through the air on harnesses, fiddlers, tap dancers and aerial snow stunts. If you are as excited as we are about the 2010 Winter Olympics then you are probably already gearing up for a viewing or watch party as we speak. If you need a few last minute ideas or inspiration read on.
- The Olympic Potluck is an awesome way to bring people together and celebrate the Olympic spirit. Assign each person attending a different country that is participating in this years game and have them bring a food dish or cocktail associated with the assigned country.
