thankyoucards

Thank you notes.  Since your mother no longer makes you write them, it can be difficult to find the time.  But every savvy urban girl should have her own unique way to express how much fun she had at a party or how much she is enjoying her gift — after all, we have all been hostesses and gift givers, too, and know the effort it requires.

For the traditional gal, Rug Road Paper Company is a thank you note utopia.  Yankee Magazine’s “Best Stationary Store in New England,” Rug Road Paper Co. may be small, but there is a lot more to their shop than meets the eye.  Handmade paper, rubber stamps, decorative scissors and punches, embossing powders and more combine with your kind words to create a note your hostess will never forget!

Not so traditional? To express your gratitude in the most creative way, visit Black Ink in both Cambridge and Boston.  Their eclectic offerings inspired their Museum of Useful Things, where you are sure to find a useful way to say “thanks.”  Don’t want to send a simple note?  Express your appreciation on a piece of creative origami.  At Black Ink, you are sure to find an unexpected, but perfect way to express your thankfulness!

Not only does it carry a ton of books but Cornerstone Books  in Salem also carries some great greeting cards. Spend an afternoon grabbing a cup of coffee, taking a seat and reading, and checking out their greeting cards, music, videos and more!

Wish you could design your own Thank You cards? Well at Posh Peacock online, you can choose from different images, colors, and fonts to design your own Thank You cards. You can also design your own invitations, stationary, magnets, bookmarks, etc. If you’re looking to find Posh Peacock stationary and greeting cards in the store, there is a list of retailers who carry their products on their website.

The greetings cards from day*star  are beautiful. All of the photography for the cards are done by Helen Eddy, the owner. On her website you can view different categories of images like local, floral, seasonal, and nautical. If you have any of your own photographs you’d like to see on a card you are able to send them to day*star and they will put them on your Thank You card.

And remember: don’t delay!  Send your thank you right away!
