CRAVE Chicago presents the Winter Wonderland Party, Wednesday December 9th 2009 at the historic Stan Mansion in Chicago’s Logan Square neighborhood from 7pm to 10pm. This magical night will feature a fabulous fashion show and moments of luxurious relaxation for busy women seeking time with friends and a break from the demands of the daily grind. Indulgent spa services, chic fashion show, lively entertainment and oodles of “retail therapy” make a CRAVE Party a luscious, inviting experience. Our unique venue provides an elegant atmosphere where women can feel comfortable and glamorous. Instead of taking care of everyone else, women at the CRAVE Party have the chance to spend one night indulging in and reconnecting with themselves.
Seattle, WA-based entrepreneur Melody Biringer created CRAVEparty. A self-avowed “start-up junkie,” Melody has built companies that range from specialty-food products to home furnishings to a fitness studio and personal training services. After successful CRAVE parties in the Pacific Northwest, Melody is branching out to more than 13 cities including Phoenix, Chicago, and San Francisco.
“We encourage women to take a break from their hectic lives for an evening and come relax with us,” says Melody. “The CRAVE Party is about spending a little time doing the things you always intend to do for yourself but never seem to get around to. It’s a chance to relax and reconnect with friends.”
Entry into a captivating evening of opulence and magical events, two complimentary cocktails, various delectable treats and a fabulous goody bag are included in the $35 ticket price. Be dazzled by the fashion show and other entertainment avenues while exceptional shopping is provided by local and women-owned businesses offering an abundant selection of women-focused merchandise. In addition, CRAVE parties offer mini-spa services to soothe your daily stresses!. “With how busy and spread thin most women are these days, they need this—an escape from their hectic lives,” says Biringer. “I’ve heard for so long, ‘I never have the time to do anything for myself or spend time with my friends.’ This is a chance to do that—to take time out to get reacquainted with the diva within.”
