About This Event:

Time for a Radical Change?

Remember the Seinfeld episode when George decides to fix his miserable life by doing everything the opposite? It’s my favorite.

Since his decisions and choices always turned out wrong, it was obvious, as Jerry points out, that “…the opposite would have to be true.” I like this radical idea, there’s something to it.

Could thinking about doing the opposite provide insight into what you’re now doing in your business or personal life? Your whole life, maybe just a part? A fresh look at things, provoke ideas we’ve never considered, a perspective that strikes a game changing nerve…all food for thought.

Before I started Crave, I made an “unhappiness” list of all the things in my business/personal life that I really wanted to escape. Stuff I hated, but just accepted. The irony was I’d worked hard to get where I was. It was all about more, bigger, busier…the stuff you’re supposed to strive for. My life was a “groundhog day” routine with no time for girlfriends, and well, no girlfriends.

So, my “George” moment: what was the opposite of all this? What would a life that I could love look like?

My “do the opposite manifesto” included goals like keep it small, keep it simple, fulfill my innovative feminine cravings, have a serendipity plan instead of a five year plan, start CRAVE and get some girlfriends. My reinventions will always be a work in progress. Let life throw us curve balls, there’s ways to come out on top.

Come join us at CRAVEfuel for an inspiring night of shared stories and meaningful conversations.  We’ll help each other unburden, unload and identify the people and places that are filling us up versus the environments that our depleting our energy.

At CRAVEfuel, we get to heart of what’s going on, what needs to change, and how to take that first step. No topic is off limits! Join us for a night of authenticity, vulnerability and meaningful connections.

  • CRAVEfuel lasts 2+ hours. Includes wine and light snacks.
  • The first 20 minutes features a speaker or panel of speakers on the evening’s subject.
  • Small group discussions follow where each person’s challenges are workshopped.
  • If you are a woman in transition, a woman longing for “what’s next,” or looking for a community and friendships, this event is for you.

LEARN MORE

Urban Campfire is designed to engage women in authentic conversations about business, relationships and life. Our mission is to provide the spark for women to experience sweet moments of inspiration, both business and personal, through joyful kinship and conversation. It’s not a conference. It’s a fire. For thousands of years, women have gathered around fires to support each other in navigating the business of everyday life. Through actionable learning and storytelling that will keep you on the edge of your seat, the day is designed to help you cultivate your full potential, in life and in business.

We’ve asked ten incredible women from around the country, “If you had ten minutes to tell the world what you’ve learned, what you know to be true…what would that be?” In TED-style talks they’ll share their secrets to connect to what matters most in life and business. Post-campfire we’ll top off our day with happy hour, food trucks, S’mores (because everyone knows you can’t have a campfire without S’mores!).

You’re not here to impress, you’re here to be yourself.
You’ll walk away with new friends, new ideas and a new perspective.
You’ve ignited that fire within yourself. Now it’s time to share it with the world.
