About This Event:

Tired of thinking small?

Do you find yourself stuck in a rut sometimes, and feel like you are doing the same thing year in and year out? One of my biggest fears is boredom. I am always dreaming up new ideas and adventures to go on, so I don’t feel stuck.

Innovation is exciting: dreaming up new things or new ways to do things, looking at things differently, changing the lense we view life with. This month we are talking about “thinking bigger – playing big”. What does that mean to you? Who and what inspires you to push harder? Register

Does playing big overwhelm you a bit? Are you already overwhelmed and can’t move forward? Sometimes it is easier to think big than play big. When I start playing big, I tend to back off and say “keep it small and keep it all” . Then someone told me why don’t you “go big and be a pig”:) I wonder if there is happy medium. I do know you can start small and take baby steps to big. Let’s explore and have fun thinking bigger!

Come join us at CRAVEfuel for an inspiring night of shared stories and meaningful conversations.  We’ll help each other unburden, unload and identify the people and places that are filling us up versus the environments that our depleting our energy.

Nicole Yeary

Nicole Yeary, Ms.Tech FounderNicole founded Ms.Tech in October 2010 with a mission to empower women by helping other women make connections as well as doing business more effectively and efficiently. And now with less than 2% of venture backed startups being female founded, it has become Ms.Tech’s mission to build the conduit to help more women raise the capital they need so they can start and scale their businesses. Most of Nicole’s career has been working with Fortune 500 companies, lending over ten years of Marketing, New Business Development, Service, Sales, Learning Development and Sales Team Management experience. While she’s not native to the second city, she became interested in the many technology startups in Chicago, involved with projects locally like MidVentures Launch and TechWeek, to projects like Data 2.0 Conference in San Francisco.

Christine Mortensen

Christine Mortensen, Founder of Sprk'd Inbound MarketingAfter more than 10 years of working at digital marketing agencies, Christine Mortensen decided to pursue a life-long dream of owning a business of her own. With a history deeply rooted in Visual Design and User Experience Design, she brings a unique and well-rounded perspective to online marketing. With the advent and rise of social media she turned her attention towards content marketing, realizing that without compelling content companies of the future would quickly falter in this new online landscape.

And thus, the seeds of Sprk’d were sown. We believe that in order to have the greatest impact, online marketing needs to truly speak to its audience—across all channels. To do this effectively, companies must take a holistic and integrated approach when creating campaigns so that they not only resonate—they convert!
