There is no denying that we all CRAVE a little extra time with our pets. Our work schedules have us running all around town; its no wonder our pets feel neglected during the week. Finding pet friendly spots in Oahu can be somewhat of a challenge as most public parks don’t allow larger dogs. Here are a few pet friendly places we found.
The Bark Park
Located at the entrance of Diamond Head state monument, the off the leash park is maintained by volunteers who do a fabulous job of maintaining a clean and peaceful place for dogs to run around and socialize.
Ward Center
While spending time with your pet is important so is the list of numerous tasks to get done over the weekend. Ward Center makes it easy to shop with your pet. With numerous pet friendly restaurants and stores such as the Wedding Café (leashed pets in at the outside tables), this outdoor shopping center is the perfect place for you and your pet.
Pet Friendly Beaches
While our islands are full of amazing beaches, many do have strict regulations on allowing pets. For those of you that want to soak up the rays with your pet, hit up beaches in Kailua and Lanikai.
