What was the inspiration or motivation behind starting your business?
I had always wanted to start my own company, but the idea for Thigh Society came from my own experience suffering from inner thigh rub for many years, and I knew that I wasn’t the only woman with this problem. I tried all available fixes: bicycle shorts, shapewear, powders, creams, gels…but none were an ideal solution, so I decided to create my own!
What mistake have you made in your business that you will not repeat?
I’ve made it a point to grow my business slowly and cautiously – I’m sure there are many mistakes yet to be made and I just hope I can learn from them.
What is your favorite, must-have accessory for the spring and summer seasons?
Several pairs of Thigh Society, of course! I love wearing skirts and dresses in the spring and summer but won’t leave home without Thigh Society underneath.
What is your indulgence?
Dark chocolate (I love 70% and higher). “A piece of chocolate a day keeps the doctor away”…right?!
What do you CRAVE? In business? In life?
Balance. I have a day job and work on Thigh Society in my free time. There are never enough hours to do everything I want to do, like work out, spend time with my husband, read, catch up with girlfriends, etc…but I try my best. For me, balance is getting to do the things I enjoy on a regular basis, even if it means being very busy!
